East China’s Jiangsu province has focused on cultivating innovative entities since the beginning of this year by making every effort to cultivate high-tech enterprises, introducing and cultivating technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, and promoting innovation momentum for high-quality development.
Huahai Chengke New Materials Co., Ltd., located in Lianyungang, recently went public on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, becoming the 100th enterprise in Jiangsu to go public on the board.
The CEO of the company said its success is inseprable from the full chain support of the government. The local government has provided a total of over 4 million yuan in financial subsidies to support the enterprise in terms of technology research and development to talent introduction. It has also customized a plan that is in line with the actual situation and development direction, and dispatched specialists to provide one-on-one guidance so as to have helped the enterprise go public in a short period of time.
“We have dispatched professionals to regularly track and understand the difficulties faced by the company in the listing application process so as to provide the best possible services, and strive for listing opportunities”,Cheng Zhaojiang, Director of the Financial Office of the Finance Bureau of Lianyungang Economic and Technological Development Zone, said.
At present, Jiangsu has recorded 100 science and technology innovation board listed companies totaling 1.1 trillion yuan in market value. The number of listed companies and total market value in the province rank first in the country, which is inseparable from the excellent innovation ecology harnessed by Jiangsu with the technology business incubator as the core.
In the list of national science and technology business incubators for 2022, Jiangsu recorded a total of 37 science and technology business incubators that have ranked the "national team". So far, Jiangsu has recorded a total of 280 national-level incubators, helping the province rank first in the country in the number of incubators, the area of incubators, and the number of incubated enterprises for many consecutive years.
In the Jiangyin Integrated Circuit Design Innovation Center, the local government, together with the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has jointly invested in the construction of a public service platform for technological innovation and an industry incubation and cultivation platform by providing enterprises with a series of "nanny services" ranging from office space leasing, instrument and equipment sharing, to entrepreneurial talent subsidies, attracting 20 integrated circuit enterprises to start businesses here.
“Various preferential policies and support have promoted the reduction of operating costs for enterprises. Despite the downward fluctuations in the semiconductor market in the past two years, the annual sales revenue of the enterprise has maintained an annual growth by 50%”,Pan Hao, Operations Director of Jiangsu Qianhe Microelectronics Co., Ltd., said.
The latest data shows that Jiangsu recorded a total of 44000 high-tech enterprises, ranking second in the country. The province also records 51800 technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, accounting for about 1/8 of the national total and ranking first in the country.
