The Party Group of the Provincial Government held a meeting on Monday to study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping"s important speech on Jiangsu work, and conscientiously implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 14th Provincial Party Committee. Xu Kunlin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Government and Governor, presided over the meeting.

The members of the provincial government party group earnestly exchanged learning experiences and the ideas and measures of promoting the implementation by focusing on studying and implementing the spirit of the General Secretary"s important speech and implementing the deployment of the plenary session of the provincial party committee.

The leaders unanimously said that the timing of this plenary session is critical and the theme is distinct, making it of great and far-reaching significance for mobilizing the whole province to unswervingly follow the direction of the General Secretary"s guidance and strive to promote the new practice of Chinese path to modernization in Jiangsu.

Efforts should be made to enhance political stance, gain insight into the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core.

Thought and action must be unified with the important speech made by the General Secretary on the work of Jiangsu, the deployment of the provincial party committee on the new practice of Jiangsu of the Chinese path to modernization, the careful implementation of the decision adopted by the plenary session, the energetic spirit and the attitude of hard work, and the comprehensive implementation in the work of the government so as to strive to be the leader and example in promoting the Chinese path to modernization.

Efforts should be made to adhere to the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping"s important speech, bear in mind the earnest expectations and earnest instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, systematically learn and comprehend, master the use of scientific thinking methods, benchmark and improve ideas and measures, and continuously promote the expansion and deepening of various work.
