China has completed the sea trial of its first 2500 meter ultra deep water pile hammer, JSBC reports.

China’s first 2500 meter ultra deep water pile hammer independently developed by a company in Hai’an county, Jiangsu province, has successfully completed sea trials and demonstration applications in the South China Sea.The pile hammer is a key equipment for various platforms, including offshore oil and gas, wind power, in the process of foundation laying on the seabed. This ultra-deep water pile hammer can operate at depths of up to 2500 meters and can cover major sea areas in China. With the accuracy of the operation position reaching the sub-meter level, this water pipe hammer can drive a 100 meter long steel pile into the seabed in 3 hours,making it of great significance for accelerating the development of China"s deep-sea oil and gas resources and ensuring China"s national energy.
