The 2023 Suzhou International Elite Entrepreneurship Week and the Fourth Suzhou Scientists Day opened Monday in Suzhou city, Jiangsu province. JSBC has the story.

Among the top leaders speaking at the opening ceremony were Cao Lubao, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, as well as Cao Weixing, member and deputy director of the Education, Science, Health and Sports Commission of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People"s Political Consultative Conference, and deputy chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic League.

At the opening ceremony, the "Suzhou Talent Digital Backpack" was released, conveying Suzhou"s confidence and commitment to talents from around the world.

Suzhou also released a global science and technology innovation elite search plan by offering 1603 postdoctoral positions globally in a bid to empower the construction of the city’s industrial innovation clusters.

Suzhou officially unveiled its first global maker communication center in London, UK. Jointly built by Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation and Suzhou, the center will explore the creation of an international communication and exchange platform that integrates functions such as promotion, talent exchange, information consultation, and resource docking.

As one of the activities of the 2023 Suzhou International Elite Entrepreneurship Week, the China Singapore Suzhou Youth Development Forum was held on Monday afternoon. The theme of the forum is to gather the strength of young people and work together for innovative development. The China Singapore Youth Entrepreneurship Project was signed concurrently with the unveiling of the China Singapore Suzhou Youth Development Forum program.
