Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People"s Congress, and Xu Kunlin, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, met on Wednesday with a visiting delegation from Zhejiang province. The delegation was headed by Yi Lianhong, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People"s Congress, and Wang Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Governor with the aim of further deepening cooperation and exchanges between the two provinces and jointly promoting the integration and development of the Yangtze River Delta.

During the visit to Jiangsu, the party and government delegation of Zhejiang Province inspected Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Network Communication and Security of the Purple Mountain Laboratories, NARI Group, Nanjing Software Industry Expo Hall in Nanjing, and the exhibition center of Suzhou Industrial Park and Positec Technology (China) Co., Ltd. in Suzhou.

The Zhejiang party and government delegation was deeply impressed by the new measures and achievements Jiangsu has made in deepening industrial technological innovation, building a strong manufacturing province, and promoting reform and opening-up.

The leaders of the two provinces unanimously stated that promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta is a major strategy personally planned, deployed, and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping.

The development of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces is highly complementary, and there is great potential for future cooperation. Shortly after the visit to Zhejiang paid by the Jiangsu Provincial Party and Government Delegation, the Zhejiang Provincial Party and Government Delegation made return visit to Jiangsu for follow-up visits and exchanges, fully demonstrating the high consciousness of the two provinces in implementing the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, and the high importance they have attached to deepening cooperation and exchanges.

The leaders of the two provinces unanimously believe that Jiangsu and Zhejiang should give full play to their respective strengths and support each other, focusing on serving the country in building a new development pattern, technological innovation, promoting industrial cooperation and ecological protection, optimizing the business environment, grassroots governance, and ensuring people"s livelihoods so as to promote new practices of modernization construction with higher quality integration by taking stronger measures and carrying out broader cooperation.
