East China"s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to inject new momentum into the economic development of the province.
The sealing of the main structure of a 200-meter-long, 20-meter-wide and 20-meter-deep foundation pit marks the completion of the pouring of the last bottom slab concrete for the Taicang Station Project in the pilot section of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Intercity Railway.
A two-story underground high-speed railway station will be constructed here to become the meeting site for the Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong high-speed railway, the Shanghai-Nanjing South Yangtze River high-speed railway, and the North Yangtze River high-speed railway meet. In the future, it will become a new high-speed railway hub in the Yangtze River Delta region.
"The working area of the entire foundation pit exceeds 5000 square meters, equivalent to the size of 12 standard basketball courts. The floor construction can significantly reduce the safety risks of deep foundation pit construction, providing convenient conditions for accelerating subsequent main structure construction. The capping of the entire structure is scheduled for completion by the end of August," said Tu Shifang, Project Leader of Taicang Station of China Railway 16th Bureau.
The top construction of the Lindun Road Station on Suzhou Metro Line 6 has been completed, making it the deepest excavated foundation pit in the history of Suzhou"s metro construction.
The closest distance between the building and the foundation pit is only 1.64 meters. During the construction of the deep foundation pit, a servo axial force automatic compensation system is used to effectively control the deformation of the foundation pit and ensure the safety of surrounding buildings.
Nanjing started pouring the foundation pit floor of Daxiaochang Station, an interchange station of Metro Line 10 Phase II and Line 5. Hundreds of construction workers are intensifying construction to ensure the completion of the main project this year.
At present, 9 cities in the province have opened rail transit, ranking first in the country. The operating mileage of rail transit has exceeded 1000 kilometers, ranking second in the country.
