The newly built pedestrian walkway in Beigang Sub-district, Changzhou City, is shaded by green trees and has a beautiful scenery, making it a good place for many residents to take a walk and enjoy the cool.

Local authorities have marked off pedestrian walkway on the north side of Hehuan Road into non motor vehicle parking areas in order to facilitate residents" transportation of children to and from school.

Since 2021, the Beigang Sub-district Government has renovated 9 main roads, including Wutong Road, Tongzihe East Road, Chahua Road and Guihua Road.

“These newly built or renovated roads provide great convenience for students to go to and from school, and the people are very satisfied,” said Ma Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of Changzhou Zhonglou Experimental Primary School.

Sucheng District, Suqian City has provided comprehensive medical and rehabilitation services for the elderly through intelligent devices for home visits.

Dong Liangjie"s father is bedridden due to illness and needs to regularly replace the nasogastric tube. Previously, he could only send his father to a nearby hospital for operation. Now, he can make an appointment through the "Suzhou Medical Care E-home" software platform, and specialized nurses will be available for on-site service.

“The on-site service has saved us time and reduced the pain of the elderly while being sent to the hospital,” said Dong Liangjie, Resident of Sucheng District, Suqian City.

The Sucheng District has also equipped intelligent terminals for the elderly so that they can check their blood pressure, blood sugar, and heart rate at home, as well as watch health lectures and online consultations so as to enable the elderly to understand their physical condition in the first place and achieve basic examination.

“We aim to enable more elders to enjoy healthy and intelligent elderly care at home, comprehensively improve the quality of community home health and elderly care services, and continuously enhance the sense of security and happiness of the elderly,” said Zhou Xiaohui, Head of the Health Promotion Department of the Health Bureau of Sucheng District, Suqian City.
