East China"s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to fulfill goals for social and economic development set forth in this year"s government work report.
The Shenzhen International Smart Logistics Port Project located in Taizhou has recently installed two ship loaders. These two loaders can lift 3000 tons and 5400 tons of cargo per hour respectively, making them the most efficient flat arm loaders for coal loading along the Yangtze River at present.
"At present, the main structure construction of the bucket wheel crane track beam has been completed, and the construction of the yard transfer station trestle is being promoted simultaneously. We are expected to complete all construction in September," said Xu Xiaoling, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Xingwang Logistics Co., Ltd.
Designed with two 100000 ton bulk cargo berths and five 1000 ton inner port bulk cargo berths and equipped with intelligent logistics loading, unloading and transportation systems, the Shenzhen International Smart Logistics Port Project will become a modern intelligent logistics hub that integrates environmental protection, intelligence, energy conservation, and green.
The Shanghai-Nanjing South Yangtze River high-speed railway will be operational before the end of the year. Jiangyin Station, the largest newly built station building along the high-speed railway, is about to undergo static acceptance.
With the station building area adding up to 42000 square meters alone, Jiangyin Station will have 4 platforms and 10 rail tracks. In the future, it can accommodate up to 2500 passengers and achieve zero distance transfer of various transportation modes.
"The track laying of the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed railway along the Yangtze River has come to an end. The railway is planned to undergo static acceptance in early May, dynamic acceptance in early June, and meet the conditions for opening by the end of August," said Dong Chuanbo, Deputy Director of the Shanghai-Nanjing Yangtze River High Speed Railway Dispatch Center.
The Shanghai Nanjing Yangtze River High Speed Railway is an important component of the Yangtze River Delta railway network, which will further assist in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region. Seven stations are installed for the entire line, including Nanjing Nan, Jurong, Jintan, Wujin, Zhangjiagang, Changshu, and Taicang. Currently, 98% of the long track laying has been completed.
