He required the local government to adhere to the principle of people first and life first, better coordinate development and safety, strengthen production safety with a strong sense of responsibility, resolutely prevent and curb major accidents, and ensure that the people enjoy the International Labor Day holiday.
Xu Kunlin inspected fire facilities, safety warning signs, and fire exits during his inspection tour to the Nanjing Gulou store of RT Mart Supermarket.
He demands efforts to pay attention to the details of safety production, focus on the prevention and control of flammable and combustible materials, and ensure that safety passages are not blocked or occupied so as to provide customers with a safe and comfortable shopping environment.
Xu Kunlin also requested local departments to strengthen holiday supply, food safety, and price regulation.
When visiting the Guangzhou Road branch of Nanjing Children"s Hospital, Xu Kunlin inspected the gas boiler room, electric bicycle parking and charging area, fire control room, and construction site of the new underground garage, and asked if fire safety and construction safety were in place.
The Governor required hospital leaders to strengthen the fire safety of the hospital, strictly implement fire safety regulations, popularize emergency rescue knowledge, and effectively improve self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities by making full use of underground space and prioritizing safety in planning, construction, and management.
When inspecting Qiaoxin Nursery Home in Gulou District, Xu requested further efforts to strengthen skill training and practical exercises for full-time and part-time fire teams, maintain an emergency state at all times, and ensure prompt response and proper disposal in the event of a fire.
During the inspection of Nanjing LG Xingang New Technology Co., Ltd., Xu Kunlin requested the enterprise to fully strengthen its responsibility for production safety, increase efforts in daily management and emergency response, rectify every hidden danger, train every employee, and continuously improve its intrinsic safety level.
