A job fair was held Wednesday afternoon in Suzhou city to help Taiwanese youth get employed in the Chinese mainland. Let’s take a close look.
More than 100 enterprises and institutions provide more than 1000 job vacancies in machinery manufacturing, electronic information, computer, medical care, service and some other industries for Taiwanese youth, attracting Taiwanese youth and Taiwanese college students who are participating in the Cross-strait Youth Culture Month in Suzhou.
“I have reached a preliminary employment intention with one of the medical device companies”, Wu Yunxuan, Master candidate of Public Health and Preventive healthcare, School of Medicine, Soochow University, said.
“We need to recruit mechanical, electronic hardware, software, fluid mechanics engineers, as well as some administrative clerks. Our salary is absolutely competitive”, Xu Boling, Founder and CEO of Xinqing Medical (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., said.
Since 2016, Taiwanese youth in Suzhou have started 1650 projects, and 17500 Taiwanese youth have participated in various innovation and entrepreneurship activities and internships throughout Jiangsu province.
