Organized by iSuzhou, a total of11 expatsin Suzhou, who comefrom five countries including the US, Iran and Russia, came to Huaqiao Station花桥[地铁站]of Suzhou Rail Transit Line 11 this morning to participate in the test ride of the line.
With a length of41.25kilometers and28stations, the metro line links Shanghai, Suzhou and Kunshan. Compared with other lines in Suzhou, it"s faster and able to carry more passengers.
The stations, incorporating both the modern and traditional elements of Suzhou, are aimed at showcasing the features and style of the city.

“I find themreally unique compared to other countries, because they are really modern and stylish.I think they are really convenient and easy to use evenfor foreigners," saidDenis Bodrowfrom Russia.
Fatemeh Geshani from Iran said, "It was amazing. Especially the screen in the train and in the station. It"s so convenient. We can watch and know (information about) this station and next station.”
Suzhou Rail Transit Line 11 isfull-automaticand has appliedself-driving technologiesto up to 120 scenarios.
"There is a conductor on the train, but just standing there. There"re no controls. It seems to be all automated.And it"s really nice that we get the front view and rear view through the windows,"saidEvansfromthe US.
People can transfer betweenSuzhou Rail Transit Line 11 and Shanghai Metro Line 11at Huaqiao Station via one of the three passages. It takes about five minutes to change to the other line and there is no need to go through security checks again.
How to transfer:
1. Use the QR code of "Su-e-Xing" or "Metro Daduhui" app. There is no need to exit the station.
2. Use China T-union Card. Passengers need to pay the fare of their last trip and exit the station first, then enter the station of the other line.
Ticket Price:
The initial price is 2 yuan. It costs 8 yuan to travel from Huaqiao Station to Weiting Station, and 13 yuan maximum to reach a station in the urban area of Suzhou.
